John Hrehov: Credits

John Hrehov is represented by Denise Bibro Fine Art in New York City and Gallery Victor Armendariz in Chicago. His most recent solo exhibition at Denise Bibro was reviewed in the international periodical Art in America. He is the recipient of numerous awards including Best of Show, The American States Arts Competition, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Gladys Emerson Cook Prize in the Area of Prints, Drawings, and Pastels, 167th Annual Exhibition, National Academy of Design, New York, New York.

His work is in numerous collections including the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Lincoln National Corporation, and Lutheran Social Services of Indiana.

 

Education

John Hrehov received his MFA in Painting in 1985 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL; and his BFA in Painting in 1981 from Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, OH.
